Eileen has extensive background in Regulatory and Standards, as well as Quality Assurance in the food industry. Her regulatory experience has been with large companies such as Heinz’ Food Service division, ConAgra’s Hunt-Wesson division, and Albertsons/Supervalu’s private label group. She has worked with manufacturers of frozen and shelf-stable products, as well as of food service and retail products. With these she dealt mainly with FDA and USDA labeling (nutrition content claims, ingredient declarations, kosher, etc.). Her quality assurance experience has been with suppliers and with Q.A. auditing. She earned a B.S. in Food Service Management at the University of California, Davis, and an M.B.A. at San Francisco State University.
At H.B. Specialty Foods, as a Regulatory/Documentation specialist, she develops accurate specifications, ingredient declarations, nutritional profiles, and allergen statements for products as requested by customers. She also procures special certificates such as kosher and halal.
