Sylvia has over 25 years of experience in research and development, and project management, with some of the top food companies in the world. From concept development to plant implementations, to market introduction, Sylvia has experience with every aspect of a product’s life cycle. Throughout her career, she has formulated successful solutions for everything from frozen meals for people with dietary requirements, to products for Thermal processing such as soups, beans and fruit fillings. Sylvia has a degree from Eastern Oregon University and a Food Science certification from Kansas State.
At HB, Sylvia has worked on products ranging from appetizers to formulating new kinds of breadcrumbs. She currently oversees the work being done on coatings for the potato industry. Sylvia’s extensive knowledge over a wide variety of products and processes are a tremendous asset to our customers and a proven benefit for the rest of the HB team.
